Free Forex Charts

Companies around the world provide free forex charts as a part or plug in software in their system. This facility is provided totally free of cost and is considered as a value added service for their customers. There was a time, a decade ago, when there were not too many brokers, at that time traders didn’t had much choice but to buy expensive charting software and to subscribe to data feed on monthly basis.

Although still a very reasonable number of traders exist who are using those expensive analysis software but that community is limited to traders with large accounts. Logically thinking a trader with account size of $1000 cannot pay monthly subscription fee about half of the account size.

Mostly all of the famous tools and indicators are available in these free forex charts and are as good as paid services, especially for traders having medium to small account size. These charts come in with a variety of built in functions that are sometimes very effective for part time and amateur traders.

There are few drawbacks of free forex charts that they are not really live forex charts in true sense and sometimes are showing data that is being delayed by a few seconds. This is generally a ploy added by the forex charts providing company to avoid people using these charts along with trading platform provided by some other company. Also the depth of data is not that good but still these free charts are more than useful to try new strategies and test out trading methodologies.
